The Simpsons - The Simpson House as 3D Model
742 Evergreen Terrace - Homer and Marge Simpson live here with their three spiky-haired children Bart, Lisa and Maggie.
The little house with the oil stain in front of the garage is so popular with series fans that we have now created a 3D wooden model of the home of the yellow brood.
But in reality there is a Simpsons house - if not in Springfield.
The sad story of the Simpsons House
In 1997, the shower manufacturer Pepsi, in cooperation with the television station FOX and the construction company Kaufman and Broad Homebuilders, had a detailed Simpsons house built. Architects and decorators looked at countless Simpsons episodes to imitate the floor plan and furnishings in as much detail as possible. The address: 712 Red Bark Lane in Henderson, Nevada. The aim was to give the house away to the lucky winner of a raffle.
Not only was the facade brightly colored, it also looked like the Simpsons were really going in and out here. The house was eventually offered to a lucky winner. However, the rules of the game said: if you want the Simpsons hut, you have to have it deleted according to the requirements of the community. Alternatively, you could opt for a cash prize of $ 75,000. And what can we say: The winner, Barbara Howard from Kentucky, preferred to use the coal.
Little by little, the Simpsons house was transformed into a boring normal house. In 2001 it was finally sold.
Please note that this kit is not a children's toy and can only be "played on" to a limited extent.
Please keep the items away from small children under 6 years of age. It contains small parts that can break off and be swallowed. We therefore declare the model as a puzzle or decoration.
Item description:
Material: 4mm wood
Dimensions approx. In cm: 37 x 22 x 14 (L x W x H)
Weight approx: 0.7 kg
Contents: 1 x lasered kit / assembly instructions
Delivered as a kit. This must be put together by you.
No tools are needed. The parts must be glued with glue.
The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This causes the edges to look burned and traces of soot and smoke may remain on the wood. You can easily remove these with fine emery paper.
All components are lasered so that there is a "nice" front and a sooty, manufacturing-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always faces the visible side.
These traces of soot and smoke as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is influenced by physical principles such as temperature and humidity, there are certain restrictions on the quality of the products, which you have to consciously accept.

The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This will cause the edges to look burnt and possibly leave traces of soot and smoke on the wood. These can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
All components are laser cut so that there is a "beautiful" front and a marked, production-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always points to the visible side.
These soot and smoke marks as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity, there are certain limitations in the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted.
We offer the most careful choice of material and the most modern production methods, nevertheless one has to accept with wood the peculiarities and unimpeachable characteristics, which are to be observed again and again in the practice - therefore these can not be claimed by the buyer as a material defect.
