Suzuki Jimny 2021 as 3D large modelll
While all of Suzuki's light off-road vehicles have been offered in Japan under the name Suzuki Jimny since 1968, it was only the third generation, introduced in the summer of 1998, that was given this name in Europe as the successor to the Suzuki SJ, which had been built since 1981.
As with the SJ models, the Jimny, introduced in 1998, is available in a closed version and as a convertible. Although it is not quite as capable off-road as the previous model, it is more comfortable and suitable for everyday use. There was a facelift in August 2005. The model is also sold in Japan as the Mazda AZ-Offroad with a 660 cc engine. The Mazda variant is a kei car variant, which is also available from the Jimny and does not correspond to the version available in Europe. The Jimny is also available with this engine.
The Jimny has very short overhangs at the front and rear. This enables approach angles of up to 42°. The models from summer 2005 have a redesigned front section to accommodate the intercooler of the more powerful diesel variant. This reduced the front approach angle to 36°.
Both variants are powered by Suzuki's usual 1.3-liter gasoline engine with 4 cylinders and 16 valves. This produces 63 kW (86 hp) and, according to the manufacturer, consumes 7.2 liters of super unleaded in a third mix. Carbon dioxide emissions are 171 g/km.
Instead of the gasoline engine, Suzuki also offers a 1.5-liter common rail diesel engine from Renault with 48 kW (65 hp). In the third mix, this consumes 6.1 liters with carbon dioxide emissions of 162 g/km. Since summer 2005, this engine, like the gasoline engine, has been producing 63 kW (86 hp). The maximum torque of the diesel engine is 200 Nm, which is significantly greater than that of the gasoline engine, which can deliver 110 Nm.
In Germany and Switzerland the vehicle is only offered with switchable all-wheel drive and reduction gear; the 2WD version is no longer available. In normal operation, only the rear axle is driven. In Germany, the car is allowed to tow 1300 kg, which corresponds to the vehicle's unladen weight.[1]
The convertible variant and the diesel models were manufactured for the European market by the Spanish off-road vehicle manufacturer Santana Motor, so that Santana (E) is listed as the manufacturer in the registration documents. The closed version has always been produced in Japan. The diesel variant has no longer been offered in Germany and Austria since 2009. Production of the convertible ended in 2011 when Santana closed.
In autumn 2012 the Jimny was revised again. The front was modified with a new radiator grille and a modified bumper. At the rear, only the bumper was slightly adjusted. The off-road vehicle also receives new paintwork, upgraded equipment and new upholstery materials for the seats and headrests. No changes were made on the technical side.
The Jimny has also been produced in Brazil since mid-2012, but exclusively for the local market. The special models 4sun with a folding roof are very popular there, like the earlier Skyline special models, 4sport and 4work with a modified body and chassis, a snorkel and optionally larger tires. In 2017, a convertible was presented, which will be marketed under the name Canvas.
The engine has met the EURO 6 emissions standard since July 2015, and the performance data remained unchanged at 62 kW (84 hp). Since then, the standard equipment has included ESP and a tire pressure monitoring system. The interior has been slightly revised and the steering wheel has been adjusted.
Our model shows the Jimny as a closed car in the version that will be available on the market in Europe in 2021.
The model consists of 139 parts and is easy to assemble using the colorful, illustrated building instructions (which can also be downloaded as a PDF). Attention, the model must be glued/glued. Simply putting them together is not enough. With this model you can also customize the model with your own color.

Item Description:
Material: wood
Dimensions approx.: 41 x 21 x 20 cm (LxBxH)
Weight approx: 1.5 kg
Content: 1 x lasered kit with 139 parts / assembly instructions
Supplied as a lasered kit. This must be assembled by yourself.
No tools needed. The parts must be glued.
The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This will cause the edges to look burnt and possibly leave traces of soot and smoke on the wood. These can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
All components are laser cut so that there is a "beautiful" front and a marked, production-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always points to the visible side.
These soot and smoke marks as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity, there are certain limitations in the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted.
We offer the most careful choice of material and the most modern production methods, nevertheless one has to accept with wood the peculiarities and unimpeachable characteristics, which are to be observed again and again in the practice - therefore these can not be claimed by the buyer as a material defect.
