Star Wars - C-3PO (Droide) as 3D large model
C-3PO was a droid, more specifically a humanoid robot programmed for protocol questions and translation.
The droids of this model have a skin of shiny metal and a human-like physique.
C-3PO was assembled by the young Anakin Skywalker from parts, where he still lacked the outer lining.
On Tatooine he met for the first time on R2-D2, which met him more often later. After Anakin left Tatooine, C-3PO remained in the possession of Anakin's mother.
When she was ransomed from her slavery, C-3PO went with her to the Lars family, which lived near the town of Mos Eisley. After Anakin returned to Tatooine to rescue his mother abducted by Sand People, he took his droid with him. His golden hull got C-3PO when he became the property of Padmé Amidala and she was appointed Senator.
As Anakin went over to the dark side of power and became Darth Vader, C-3PO came to the service of rebellion and his memory of his past life was erased so he could not tell anyone that Padmé, Anakin's wife, had given birth to two children before she died.
During the Galactic Civil War, C-3PO and R2-D2 were involved in handing over the plans of the Death Star battle station to the rebellion, which led to its destruction.
On Bespin C-3PO was shot by Imperial assault troops, but could be repaired by Chewbacca and R2 again.
In the final battle against the Empire on Endor, C-3PO was revered as a deity by the native Ewoks, who later joined the fight against the Empire and contributed to the victory of the now defeated rebels.
During the period of the New Republic, C-3PO continued to serve Leia Organa and was an important component of the resistance in the fight against the First Order.
C-3PO was - unlike the brave R2-D2 - the typical anti-hero.
He talked a great deal and quickly annoyed his owners and companions, though he always acted out of sheer caution and courtesy.
C-3PO, along with R2-D2, is one of the few characters featured in all of the Star Wars saga films. "They are the real heroes of the saga," as its creator George Lucas put it.
The characters C-3PO and R2-D2 have inspired Lucas the crooks Tahei and Matashichi from Akira Kurosawa's The Hidden Fortress, which serve the author to use a specific storytelling technique from the point of view of paired figures.
C-3PO was portrayed by Anthony Daniels. His German voice actor was in the prequel trilogy Wolfgang Digit, in the classic trilogy (IV-VI) and since The Awakening of Power (2015) Joachim Tennstedt lent his voice.
C-3PO was designed by illustrator Ralph McQuarrie, who based his design on the Maria from Metropolis.
Performances had C-3PO in the following films:
Episodes: I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII
Anthology: Rogue One
Series: The Clone Wars, Rebels, The Forces of Fate (Voice)

Item Description:
Material: 4mm wood
Dimensions approx. ca. in cm: (L x B x H) 17 x 21 x 70
Weight approx: 4.0 kg
Content: 1 x lasered kit with 209 parts / assembly instructions
Supplied as a lasered kit. This must be assambled by yourself.
No tools needed. The parts must be glued.
The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This will cause the edges to look burnt and possibly leave traces of soot and smoke on the wood. These can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
All components are laser cut so that there is a "beautiful" front and a marked, production-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always points to the visible side.
These soot and smoke marks as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity, there are certain limitations in the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted.
We offer the most careful choice of material and the most modern production methods, nevertheless one has to accept with wood the peculiarities and unimpeachable characteristics, which are to be observed again and again in the practice - therefore these can not be claimed by the buyer as a material defect.
