Pontiac Star Chef (Strato Sedan) `59 as 3D large model
In 1954, in addition to the Chieftain, the brand's only model for several years, Pontiac introduced the new Star Chief with a longer wheelbase as the top model.
The Star Chief Deluxe was available as a 2-door convertible and a 4-door sedan, the better-equipped Star Chief Custom as a 2-door hardtop coupé or a 4-door sedan.
The hardtop model also had the additional designation Catalina. In contrast to the Chieftain, the Star Chief was only available with an eight-cylinder in-line engine, which developed an output of 122 to 127 bhp (90–93 kW) at 3,800 rpm from a displacement of 4,398 cm³.
In 1955, a completely revised Star Chief was introduced. Already in 1958 there was a completely new style.
The cars were given double headlights, panoramic windows at the rear and even wider side strips in the area of the tail fins.
The V8 engine was also enlarged again and now achieved 255–285 bhp (187.5–210 kW) with a displacement of 6063 cm The Star Chief was completely redesigned in 1959. The shark mouth disappeared in favor of a two-part radiator grille in the form of elongated horseshoes with inserted double headlights. In the middle there was a lacquered bridge.
The Star Chief was only available with the long wheelbase as a 2- or 4-door sedan and as a 4-door hardtop model (nicknamed Vista). The 6,375 cm³ engine delivered 245 bhp (180 kW) at 4,200 rpm or 280 bhp (206 kW) at 4,400 rpm. In 1960 there were few stylistic changes.
Instead of the two-part, horseshoe-shaped grill, there was a continuous with horizontal chrome strips. The tail fins got a little smaller. The size of the engine remained unchanged, but now achieved 215–283 bhp (158–208 kW).

The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This will cause the edges to look burnt and possibly leave traces of soot and smoke on the wood. These can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
All components are laser cut so that there is a "beautiful" front and a marked, production-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always points to the visible side.
These soot and smoke marks as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity, there are certain limitations in the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted.
We offer the most careful choice of material and the most modern production methods, nevertheless one has to accept with wood the peculiarities and unimpeachable characteristics, which are to be observed again and again in the practice - therefore these can not be claimed by the buyer as a material defect.
