Pontiac GTO Judge as 3D large model
The Pontiac GTO is an automobile of the US automotive group General Motors, which was launched in the summer of 1964 under the Pontiac brand. The name GTO stands for "Gran Turismo Omologato", a model name that was previously used by Ferrari. The GTO was initially a powerful variant of the Pontiac Tempest Le Mans. A year later, the GTO became an independent model that was sold 95,000 times in 1966 due to its mileage (200 km / h top speed) and its affordable price.
The GTO was invented by John DeLorean, then chief engineer at Pontiac. He thus ushered in the muscle car era.
The biggest advantage of this Pontiac series was the very high speed and the very favorable power-to-weight ratio, the biggest disadvantage was its low maneuverability and the poor braking behavior of the rear wheels, which easily lost contact with the ground. The first GTO version already had the largest engine that Pontiac was allowed to use in a mid-range vehicle at the time: a V8 engine with 6,379 cc (389 cin). The body line followed the so-called coke bottle design from 1966.
In 1967, the GTO was equipped with a 6,560 cc engine (400 cui) and achieved 261 kW (354.86 hp) in the Hi-Performance or Ram-Air 360 version.
Production of the Pontiac GTO was discontinued in mid-1974 due to the recent weak sales (1973: 7,058 vehicles sold).
At the end of 2003, a new GTO, based on the Holden Monaro, came onto the American market. The standard engine was initially the Chevrolet LS1 V8, from 2005 the new LS2 V8 was available. Also new for 2005 were functional hood scoops (although not a ram air system), optional 18-inch rims and a spoiler package.
The previous models of the GTO were primarily intended for quarter-mile races, while the new models were used just as successfully in the popular drift races.

Item Description:
Material: 4mm wood
Dimensions approx. 60 x 22,5 x 17 cm (LxWxH)
Weight approx: 1.2 kg
Content: 1 x lasered kit with all parts / assembly instructions
Supplied as a lasered kit. This must be assambled by yourself.
No tools needed. The parts must be glued.
The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This will cause the edges to look burnt and possibly leave traces of soot and smoke on the wood. These can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
All components are laser cut so that there is a "beautiful" front and a marked, production-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always points to the visible side.
These soot and smoke marks as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity, there are certain limitations in the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted.
We offer the most careful choice of material and the most modern production methods, nevertheless one has to accept with wood the peculiarities and unimpeachable characteristics, which are to be observed again and again in the practice - therefore these can not be claimed by the buyer as a material defect.
