Hitachi EX 2500-6 Mining Excuvator as 3D large modell
The mining excavator type Hitachi EX2500-6 is an excavator manufactured by Hitachi Construction Machinary LTD in Japan (Tokyo) for the most extreme applications.
With the built-in Cummings engine QSK50C and the associated 1400 HP, it is easy to fill the up to 15 cc bucket.
The weight of the Colossus is up to 249 tons depending on the structure (front shovel or backhow version). Hence the type designation 2500, which roughly reflects the operating weight.
Like all large excavators, this is only assembled on site and set on site by mechanics.
The components come in a prefabricated form and several cranes are required until the excavator is assembled.
You don't need a crane or technician for our 4mm wood model. You have to do that yourself .....
But the illustrated instructions guide you step by step, from the drive to the shovel to the finished model.
But be careful, with its remarkable model size of over one meter in length, it rarely fits in the collector's display case.
On the finished excavator, the upper structure can be turned and the boom can be moved. By the "piston rod lock" the boom can be fixed in the position you want. By loosening the "piston rod lock", the boom can be moved again at any time to adapting the view of the excavator. This 3D model impresses with its accuracy of the vie, lifelike reproduction, its size and the mobility of the work equipment. Please note that due to its dimensions and many parts, this model requires a skilled builder.
Please note that this kit is not a toy and can only be used to a limited extent. Please keep the items away from small children under 6 years old. It involves breaking off small parts and being swallowed. We declare the model as a puzzle or decoration
Item Description:
Material: Layered construction of 4mm wood
Dimensions approx. ca. 1070 - 1330 x 350 x 500-930 mm (LxWxH)

Weight approx: 6.5 kg
Content: 1 x lasered kit with all parts / assembly instructions
Supplied as a lasered kit. This must be assambled by yourself.
No tools needed. The parts must be glued.
The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This will cause the edges to look burnt and possibly leave traces of soot and smoke on the wood. These can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
All components are laser cut so that there is a "beautiful" front and a marked, production-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always points to the visible side.
These soot and smoke marks as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity, there are certain limitations in the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted.
We offer the most careful choice of material and the most modern production methods, nevertheless one has to accept with wood the peculiarities and unimpeachable characteristics, which are to be observed again and again in the practice - therefore these can not be claimed by the buyer as a material defect.
