Frilled Neck Lizard 3D large model
Frilled Neck Lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii) is a species of agame (Agamidae) native to Australia and New Guinea.
She is the only representative of the thus monotypical genus Chlamydosaurus, and is known for its ability to erect a large neck-claw rainshield-like.
This "collar" is formed by a large skin membrane supported by cartilage rods. The sudden tightening of the collar by contraction of muscles attached to the cartilage rods makes the lizard appear larger and deters enemies, but also plays a role in internal communication. The collared lizard is a day-active tree dweller and feeds on insects. On the ground, she can move upright on her hind legs very quickly.
Collared lizards reach a total length of up to 95 cm, the tail makes up about 2/3 of the total length.
Males reach a weight of 900 g at this size. The females have proportionally smaller heads, generally remain smaller and are significantly lighter. A female with 24 cm head-hull-length weighed 400 g.
The body of the collared lizard is covered with mostly small, rough, keeled scales, some slightly enlarged scales in the neck form a small comb.
Collared lizards are variably colored, the top of the body and the tail can be from orange-brown to gray-brown to completely brown or almost black. The belly is pale yellow.
Our collared lizard is 28 cm long and is made of 30 parts that you can easily assemble with the illustrated instructions.

The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This will cause the edges to look burnt and possibly leave traces of soot and smoke on the wood. These can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
All components are laser cut so that there is a "beautiful" front and a marked, production-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always points to the visible side.
These soot and smoke marks as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity, there are certain limitations in the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted.
We offer the most careful choice of material and the most modern production methods, nevertheless one has to accept with wood the peculiarities and unimpeachable characteristics, which are to be observed again and again in the practice - therefore these can not be claimed by the buyer as a material defect.
