Ford F1 Pick Up 1948 as 3D large model
The Ford Model A "Phaeton" was developed and manufactured by the Ford Motor Company. But it was also produced under license in Europe, South America and under license in the Soviet Union.
The automobile was built from October 20, 1927 as a 1928 model and sold from December 2nd. The Model A was available in four standard colors, but not black. However, for manufacturing reasons, the fenders were always painted black.
Prices ranged from $385 for a roadster to $570 for the luxury four-door “Town Car.” The engine was a four-cylinder in-line engine with vertical valves, a displacement of 3.3 liters, a simple updraft carburettor from Zenith and around 30 kW (40 hp). Typical fuel consumption was between 12 and 19 liters per 100 kilometers. The Model A's top speed was around 104 km/h. It had a wheelbase of 103.5 inches (2.6 m) and a rear axle ratio of 3.77:1. The transmission was a 3-speed sliding wheel transmission with reverse gear. The Model A had mechanically operated drum brakes on all wheels. Like the T, the A had rigid drawbar axles (slid at the front) on transverse leaf springs. The Ford A was the first Ford to be operated according to the usual standard: it had accelerator, brake and clutch pedals and a gearshift lever.
The Model A was available in many versions: as a chassis (for bodies from other manufacturers), coupe (standard and deluxe), business coupe, sports coupe, roadster coupe (standard and deluxe), two- and four-seat convertible, Convertible Sedan, Phaeton (standard and deluxe), Tudor (two-door, standard and deluxe), Fordor (four-door, two or three windows, standard and deluxe), Town Car, Victoria, Station Truck, Taxi, Truck and Commercial. The years 1928/1929 and 1930/1931 look slightly different, but are technically largely the same. The cars built in 1928/1929 are equipped with 21-inch rims, those built in 1930/1931 with 19-inch rims.
Production ended on August 31, 1931, with 4,320,446 vehicles built in all versions. The Model A was replaced by an updated model, which Ford named Model B.
Our Phaeton model shows this great automobile the necessary respect and recreates the original in great detail. Despite its small size in the model, the unmistakable features of the Ford A are immediately recognizable.
The model consists of 152 parts that can be easily put together using the illustrated assembly instructions provided. If you want, you can give the kit a personal touch by painting or glazing it in your own color.
Item Description:
Material: wood
Dimensions approx. 30 x 14,5 x 15 cm (LxWxH)
Weight approx: 9.8 kg
Content: 1 x lasered kit with 152parts / assembly instructions
Supplied as a lasered kit. This must be assembled by yourself.
No tools needed. The parts must be glued.
The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This will cause the edges to look burnt and possibly leave traces of soot and smoke on the wood. These can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
All components are laser cut so that there is a "beautiful" front and a marked, production-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always points to the visible side.
These soot and smoke marks as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity, there are certain limitations in the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted.
We offer the most careful choice of material and the most modern production methods, nevertheless one has to accept with wood the peculiarities and unimpeachable characteristics, which are to be observed again and again in the practice - therefore these can not be claimed by the buyer as a material defect.
