Dune - Spice Harvester as 3D Modele
A spice harvester is a large, heavy, mobile factory designed to harvest the Spice Melange. It is dropped by carrier ships (known as Carryalls) onto spice fields. These machines would then harvest and process the spice off the top of the desert floor.
This immense farming mechanism is used solely on Arrakis, as it was the only known source of spice before the Tleilaxu developed a substitute.
Because of the rhythmic sound they make, they are regularly eaten by sandworms. That's why 2 or 3 ornithopters (called spotters) flew in the sky above the spice harvester, watching for wormsign (an obvious sign that a sandworm is approaching). Upon detecting wormsign, the harvester would be picked up immediately to clear it out of the way. A sandworm can be large enough to swallow the harvesters.
When Muad' Dib asked Liet Kynes if they would see a sandworm while viewing the spice harvesting, Kynes replied that they always come when they hear a spice harvester.
Please note that this kit is not a toy and can only be played with to a limited extent. Please keep the items away from small children under 6 years of age. It involves small parts which might break off and be swallowed. We declare the model as a puzzle or decoration

The kit is made of wood and has been lasered. This will cause the edges to look burnt and possibly leave traces of soot and smoke on the wood. These can be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
All components are laser cut so that there is a "beautiful" front and a marked, production-related "bad" back. Make sure that the good side always points to the visible side.
These soot and smoke marks as well as the fact that wood is a natural product, which is dimensionally influenced by basic physical laws such as temperature and humidity, there are certain limitations in the nature of the products, which must be consciously accepted.
We offer the most careful choice of material and the most modern production methods, nevertheless one has to accept with wood the peculiarities and unimpeachable characteristics, which are to be observed again and again in the practice - therefore these can not be claimed by the buyer as a material defect.
